The
Warm Chill is an innovative blend of electronic breakbeats and eastern
melodies fused with chill guitar.
tj Rehmis latest endeavor as a musician, composer and producer
will take you through a myriad of moods, incorporating drum and bass
against an exotic chill out soundscape. In conjunction with the release
of The Warm Chill tj Rehmi will be touring choice hot spots in the
US and Europe throughout 2004.
tjs first E.P., The Fusionist came out on Nation Records in
1996. His distinctive use of Drum & Bass beats mixed with his
unique style brought about a following in Europe that lead to the
release of his second EP, Skrutinizer in 1997, followed by four full
length albums on Nation and Shakti Records. tj has remixed songs for
Real Records, Urgent Records, OSA and Six Degrees. Tracks from his
albums have appeared on numerous compilations including the Asian
Chill (Manteca) and VIP Lounge (George V Records)
CDs.
tj produced music for the documentary Virtual Borders as well as contributed
to the PBS documentary New Americans and two documentaries on the
UK Asian Underground, Asian Vibes London and Burn
More Incense. tj has also produced music for other artists including
female Brit-Asian Rap artist HardKaur. |
